A Manager's Role

Duke is a $4 billion institution, and about 60 percent of its operating budget is invested in the people who work here. So, people truly are the most valuable asset at Duke. And the role of the manager is perhaps the most important in creating a supportive work environment where people can function at their highest potential to advance Duke's missions of education, research and patient care now and in the future.
