Duke Temporary Service (DTS), a department within the Office of Human Resources at Duke University, was established in 1978 to provide employment for Duke University and Duke University Health System. Duke University and Duke University Health System, Duke Regional Hospital, Duke Raleigh Hospital, and outlying areas of Duke.

DTS fills clerical, technical, service, administrative, professional, clinical, scientific, and healthcare assignments at Duke University and Duke University Health System, Duke Regional Hospital, Duke Raleigh Hospital, and outlying areas of Duke.

Resumes should be updated every 90 days.

If your skills, education, and experience match any available current job assignments, you will be contacted for an interview.

Job assignments range from half days to indefinite periods of time. You cannot work more than 900 hours during the fiscal year (July 1 - June 30).

DTS employees are eligible to receive holiday pay based on the number of hours worked. Holiday pay is earned if an employee works 400 hours in the 6 pay periods prior to the holiday.
