Nomination Deadline Approaching for Algernon Sydney Sullivan Awards
Nominations for the prestigious Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award are due March 6. The award, which was established for colleges and universities in the South to honor persons with “fine spiritual qualities and a nobility of character,” will be presented to a Duke graduating senior and a faculty member, staff person, or graduate/professional student who exhibits selflessness, generosity of service, nobility of character, person of integrity, and depth of spirituality.

Applications for the ninth class of the Office Staff Development Program are being accepted from eligible University and Health System staff with a manager recommendation through March 17. The program provides training and development in clerical office management skills with the aim of helping employees qualify for a variety of career advancement opportunities at the University and Health System.
