RE:Support Resources for Transition to New Recruiting, Hiring and Onboarding System

In preparation for the June 17 transition to SAP SuccessFactors, Duke's new recruiting, hiring and onboarding system, we are sharing additional resources to provide guidance and support through the process.

On the SuccessFactors Support Resources page of the HR website, you will find a series of video tutorials that cover everything from Candidate Review and Offer Process to Pre-Employment Check and Orientation Activities. These videos can be viewed sequentially for comprehensive training or as needed for assistance with specific functions. The page will also soon include quick reference guides and a detailed FAQ.

If you or others involved in the hiring process in your department have not signed up for an on-site overview session, you can register through the HR website. The sessions on May 31 and June 6 will also be live streamed for those unable to attend in person.

As we approach the transition, here are a few key dates to keep in mind:

  • June 12: Last day to complete any critical hires in the existing BrassRing system before the transition. Any job requisitions that have not begun the required background check by this date will be converted to SuccessFactors for completion.
  • June 13-16: Job searches on Duke's Careers website will be temporarily unavailable during this time as part of the transition. Applicants will be able search and apply for jobs again beginning Monday, June 17.
  • June 17: SuccessFactors will be the new system for all recruiting, hiring and onboarding activities.
  • June 28: Last day to complete the hiring process for any job requisitions in old system that had begun the required background check process before June 12.

Thank you for your support during this important implementation process.
