Personal Assistance Service is the faculty/employee assistance program of Duke University. The staff of licensed professionals offer assessment, short-term counseling, and referrals to help resolve a range of personal, work, and family problems.
PAS services are available at no charge to Duke faculty and staff, and their immediate family members. PAS carefully adheres to professional standards of ethics and confidentiality.
Appointments
Appointments and services are confidential to the fullest extent permitted by law. Except for danger to self or others, child abuse or neglect, or authorized legal access, no information is released without written consent of the client.
DUKE EMPLOYEES
To schedule an appointment to meet with a PAS counselor, contact the PAS office at 919-416-1PAS (919-416-1727) during scheduling hours Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. PAS offers in person and virtual appointments by Zoom.
MAIN STREET LOCATION
2200 West Main Street, Erwin Square Tower, on the 4th floor in Suite 400A. Free parking is available in the Erwin Square parking lot in front of and behind the building. Transportation is also available on the H5 Duke shuttle from Duke North, Duke South, Hock Plaza and Erwin Mill.
DUKE RALEIGH HOSPITAL LOCATION
The Duke Raleigh PAS office is located in Suite 214 in the building known as MOB 3 at 3320 Executive Drive in Raleigh. This building is right behind Duke Raleigh Hospital. When you turn into the parking lot, you will see the building has two floors. You will want to park on the side of the building that is behind the Eye Center. When you arrive, please check in with the front desk of the EOHW Clinic.

Duke Regional Hospital is located on 3643 North Roxboro Street in Durham. Please contact PAS at 919-416-1727 for details about this location.
