All farmers at the Duke Farmers Market are locally owned and operated, with many having ties to Duke. The following farmers and vendors will appear at the Duke Farmers Market this season:

Bordeaux Lane Studio

Production practices: International sensibility and art historical background inform the jewelry and mixed media creations of Bordeaux Lane Studio, highlighting a passion for color, design, and quality materials

Products: Grass-fed beef

Production Practices: Caywood Farm is dedicated to providing humanely raised grass-fed beef to the local community. Mama cows and their calves are raised on 140 acres of pasture. The farm uses regenerative grazing practices which benefits both the animals and the soil. They also practice low-stress animal handling and do not use any antibiotics or added hormones.

Products: Salsa Molcajete, Salsa Verde, Salsa Habanero and Salsa Morita. Fresh Pico de Gallo and Guacamole. Hand made chips, Mexican food and Aguas frescas (mexican fresh juices).

Production practices: Everyday Mexican Food, made from scratch, using artisan techniques, without preservatives or additives. Our ingredients are always fresh and local when possible.


Elodie Farms

Products: Goat cheese including plain chevre, jalapeno, garlic and herb, honey and fig, tart cherry, marinated chevre (Fleur Vert), and feta. Homemade crackers (sea salt, rosemary, and fennel), goat cheese blackberry mousse, and cajeta (goat-milk spreadable caramel).

Production practices: Elodie Farms is a historic 1910s farm home to a small herd of mixed-breed dairy goats that browse happily on 17+ acres of pasture amidst hundred-year old trees, old tobacco barns and a natural lake. We use sustainable agricultural practices to keep our animals healthy and happy, while also being mindful of the environment. Our baby goats are raised by their mothers, we are a cull-free farm, and animals not suitable for production are retired to live their old years enjoying the beautiful farm. Elodie Farms is open to the public twice a month for farm dinners and farm tours. Check our website for more details.
