Products: Unique and locally-harvested spring, summer, and fall cut flower arrangements and stems ranging in price from $5 to $20 bouquets. Free range eggs, Animal Welfare Approved lamb and pork products.

Production practices: Samantha and Scott started Bull City Farm in response to their desire to feed their family humanely raised meat that they knew was treated with respect and thoughtfulness. Samantha has a degree in biology and has 18 years of teaching experience which she brings to her management of the farm.

Production Practices: Caywood Farm is dedicated to providing humanely raised grass-fed beef to the local community. Mama cows and their calves are raised on 140 acres of pasture. The farm uses regenerative grazing practices which benefits both the animals and the soil. They also practice low-stress animal handling and do not use any antibiotics or added hormones.

Products: Salsa Molcajete, Salsa Verde, Salsa Habanero and Salsa Morita. Fresh Pico de Gallo and Guacamole. Hand made chips, Mexican food and Aguas frescas (mexican fresh juices).

Production practices: Everyday Mexican Food, made from scratch, using artisan techniques, without preservatives or additives. Our ingredients are always fresh and local when possible.

Products: Dandies Farm is always trying new varieties, and you can expect to see lettuce, kale, pac choi, basil, kohlrabi, fennel bulb, spinach, chives, arugula, radish, turnip, garlic, corn, melons, leeks, squash, zucchini, tomatoes, pepper, bell pepper, cucumber, eggplant, cabbage, onion, veggie seedlings, cut flowers (zinnias), strawberries, blueberries, muscadine grapes, figs, cut flowers, shiitake and foraged mushrooms.

Production practices: Now in their 13th year, Dandies Farm is located in Rougemont NC in the protected Upper Neuse watershed area of Durham County. We sell conventionally grown produce 3 out of 4 seasons at the Duke Farmers mkt, Roots mkt at Northgate Mall, and various restaurants. We support the preservation and reclamation of Durham farmland and protecting the water we drink coming from the Neuse. We love to talk about and sell our "Fresher is Finer" produce to consumers as well as future gardeners and farmers. Come by and share your stories and recipes!


Elodie Farms

Products: Goat cheese including plain chevre, jalapeno, garlic and herb, honey and fig, tart cherry, marinated chevre (Fleur Vert), and feta. Homemade crackers (sea salt, rosemary, and fennel), goat cheese blackberry mousse, and cajeta (goat-milk spreadable caramel).

Production practices: Elodie Farms is a historic 1910s farm home to a small herd of mixed-breed dairy goats that browse happily on 17+ acres of pasture amidst hundred-year old trees, old tobacco barns and a natural lake. We use sustainable agricultural practices to keep our animals healthy and happy, while also being mindful of the environment. Our baby goats are raised by their mothers, we are a cull-free farm, and animals not suitable for production are retired to live their old years enjoying the beautiful farm. Elodie Farms is open to the public twice a month for farm dinners and farm tours. Check our website for more details.

Production practices: Lyon Farms is registered in North Carolina as a “Century Farm” and it has been in Mr. Lyon’s family since 1861. The Lyons have been members at the Carrboro Market for 13 years and are now producing year-round. Providing a wide assortment of quality fruits and vegetables as well as seasonal items.

Our apples range from sweet to tart; flavor-packed to subtle and complex.

Production practices: The farm strives to be good stewards of the land using cover crops to fix nitrogen and provide organic matter, drip irrigation to optimize water usage, molasses and pheromone traps to manage pests, wood chips to suppress weeds, and habitat areas to attract beneficial insects. This approach allows the farm to integrate the production of products that delight with longer-term environmental sustainability goals.


The Microgreenery

Production practices: The Microgreenery started farming with the goal of bringing optimal nutrition and quality produce to the community. They believe that vital vitamins and nutrition can be found in live foods and want to facilitate an easy process to help microgreens make it onto your plate. The Microgreenery grows everything with love and not chemicals, and their products can be found at Family Greens, Unscripted Hotel, and Piedmont Restaurant in Durham.


Red Birds Farm

Production practices: Red Birds Farm strives to grow the way nature intended, utilizing only natural soil amendments to nourish their plants. No herbicides are used in production and only organic approved pesticides are applied where necessary. A heated hoop house allows them to bring fresh produce to your family all year long, and their feathered ladies work a chicken tractor around their farm, producing wonderful rich brown eggs.


Toad Hill Farm

Production Practices: This family-owned farm focuses on a diverse set of locally adapted and heirloom vegetables, fruits, and flowers and strives to use "toad friendly" farming practices with minimal tillage (most of it with hand tools) and very minimal, very targeted organic pesticide use. The farm is surrounded on three sides by streams which are part of the Little River watershed. These streams, woods, pasture and gardens house the farm's healthy namesake toad population for which they couldn't be more grateful.

Production Practices: The farm is a no-spray fruit orchard, vineyard, and berry farm. Drought resistant fruits are grown that do not require fungicides. All products are made from scratch with traditional methods and without the use of artificial ingredients.
