The next Around the World challenge takes place from September 1 - September 30, 2026.
In Around the World, staff and faculty set activity goals that correspond to the distance or height of an iconic global landmark highlighted for the month-long challenge every spring and fall, such as climbing the number of flights of stairs in the Eiffel Tower or traversing a portion of the length of the Great Wall of China.
As you log your daily activity, watch it accumulate toward each challenge goal. Participants who reach the milestone receive a physical medal highlighting the geographic landmark they conquered!
We'll spend the month of September walking a total distance of 42.7 miles from base camp to the summit!
