LIVE FOR LIFE, Duke's employee wellness program, offers a variety of programs and services, such as health assessments and education, smoking cessation programs, fitness activities and nutrition activities, to help eligible faculty, staff and family members reach their health and fitness goals.
DukeWELL
DukeWELL is part of the Population Health Management Office and offers a free program to patients covered by Duke Basic or Duke Select. DukeWELL works directly with a patient's provider to improve the value, quality and ease of care to help manage chronic conditions. For patients with coronary artery disase, heart failure, hyperlipidemia, hypertension and diabetes, DukeWELL offers a 90-day care management program that rewards patients with free medications.
My Health Wellness Portal
Duke’s My Health wellness portal is a customized web experience that embraces smart tools and thoughtful design to inspire new, healthy changes and connects you with resources that can lead to better health.
Employee Occupational Health
If you need to get a flu shot, complete a health review as part of the conditions of employment for your job, or find the nearest employee health clinic, visit the Employee Health website.
Personal Assistance Service
Personal Assistance Service is the faculty and employee assistance program of Duke University. The staff of licensed professionals offer assessment, short-term counseling, and referrals to help resolve a range of personal, work, and family problems. PAS services are available free of charge to Duke faculty and staff, and their immediate family members.

Health Assessment
Work with a Health Professional. Get started by participating in My Health - a free, confidential health assessment given through LIVE FOR LIFE, Duke's employee wellness program. My Health gives you the opportunity to have your cholesterol, blood sugar (for those at risk), blood pressure, height and weight measured and your body mass index calculated. An online questionnaire will also give you feedback on your current health measures and health practices. You may complete the questionnaire online or in-person.
Duke Farmers Market
LIVE FOR LIFE sponsors the Duke Farmers Market on Fridays during the spring and summer. The market's is now open for the season.
Duke Mobile Farmers Market
The Duke Mobile Farmers Market connects local farmers with the Duke community to help in meeting the demands for fresh, safe produce. Local farms in the Triangle area have continued to meet the growing demand for safe produce by selling their produce directly from their farms, or by delivering it safely to your home.
Duke Fitness Club
The Duke Fitness Club includes a network of full-service fitness facilities in locations throughout North Carolina that offer Duke faculty, staff, retirees and their families discounted membership rates.
Duke Run/Walk Club
The Duke Run/Walk Club provides walking and running programs for all fitness levels. This 12-week program will help you improve your fitness level while having fun with your co-workers in a group setting. Independent participation options are also available.
Exercise & Fitness Programs
Additional fitness activities and events are available at Duke to help faculty and staff who are interested in starting an exercise program or enhancing their current exercise routine.
Nutrition Programs
LIVE FOR LIFE's nutrition programs offer a variety of tools to support your ability to live your most healthy life. Schedule a consultation with one of our registered dietitians, enroll in an ongoing health coaching program, join a weight loss program, visit our farmers market, or utilize any of the many resources available.

LIVE FOR LIFE will partner with you during every step of your journey to freedom from tobacco. A variety of programs and resources are available to help you meet your goals.

Stress is a fact of life. But when you have too much or it lasts too long, stress can take a physical and psychological toll on your health and well-being. It can aggravate existing medical conditions or create new ones. Family, finances and work issues usually top the list of causes of stress. It is important to find a healthy balance in your life. Learning how to manage your stress is your best method of treatment as well as prevention.
