Favorite place at Duke?
My favorite place at Duke is the Al Buehler Cross Country Trail. Walking is a hobby and a social activity that I enjoy. I reap the benefits of the fresh air, favorable effect on physical health and stress relief (great mood-fixer) after a long day at work and everyday life. The Al Buehler Trail is a 3-4-mile loop around Washington Duke Golf Course maintained by the staff with Duke Forest.
Why did you join Duke?
A family member previously employed at Duke told me about Duke when I was laid off from one of Durham's largest computer corporations. I then learned about the many employment opportunities and benefits that Duke has to offer. Duke has offered me job security and career opportunities.
