Guide to Managing at Duke Plus is a two full-day virtual program, offered over two weeks, that takes a deeper dive into equipping managers to meet changing strategic, operational, and work culture objectives through effective managerial practices. Program participants will engage in interactive skill practice, and other learning methods as we work through the human resources cycle:

  • Performance management (setting results based goals)
  • Discrimination and Harassment
  • Conducting investigations
  • Availability to work, FMLA, ADA
  • Documenting performance
  • Just culture
  • Corrective action/dispute resolution
