Staff Member's Trip to See Wild Horses Wins a Duke Time Off Photo Prize
Margaret Muir, Duke Regional Hospital’s Patient Experience Officer, had known about the wild horses that roam the northern end of North Carolina’s Outer Banks for several years but had yet to go see them for herself.
But on May 24, as part of a two-day beach trip with her husband, Allen, Muir got to see the horses in their remote coastal habitat, allowing her to check off an experience that she said had long been on her “bucket list.”
