If you are planning to vote by mail this year, you can request your absentee ballot and track its progress using online tools available through the N.C. Board of Elections. Requests for absentee ballots must be made by Oct. 27, 2020, but officials suggest not waiting until the deadline to ensure receipt and submission by the deadline.
