Update to the HR Policy Manual

RE:Update to the HR Policy Manual

As part of a regular review process, Human Resources has updated the online HR Policy Manual with the changes to the following policies and procedures.

  • Minors in Duke University Programs: Policy updated to consolidate the Minors in Duke University Programs and the Minors in Duke Laboratories policies and covers all programs run, organized, sponsored, or hosted by Duke student organizations, Duke departments and units, Duke University Health System, and other Duke-related entities. University system Programs require approval from the Provost’s Office after a recommendation from the relevant Dean. Details regarding process requirements (background checks, training, etc.) have been moved to a separate site.

A listing of all the changes can be found on the Polices section of the Human Resources website.

Please review the change to ensure understanding and compliance within your departments, and take a moment to notify staff in your units.
