Flu Deadline, Diversity Breakfast, Veterans Day

Deadline for Flu Vaccinations: Tuesday, Nov. 10
All University staff and faculty working on-site must be vaccinated by Tuesday, Nov. 10 or have an approved medical or religious exemption to maintain access to Duke’s buildings and facilities.

OIE to Host Virtual Annual Diversity Informational Breakfast
The Office for Institutional Equity will host its annual Diversity Informational Breakfast virtually on Thursday, Nov. 12 at 8:30 a.m. The breakfast will, will include presentations from three diversity leaders or teams that will highlight racial equity, diversity, or inclusion efforts that inspire and support the advancement of Duke's collective goals. Following the presentations, a panelist of several Duke experts will discuss How the Pandemic Has Magnified the Challenges of Achieving Racial Equity in a Post-Election America.

Join Veterans Day Virtual Ceremony on Wednesday
Duke will host a virtual Veterans Day ceremony on November 11 to recognize and honor those who have served or are serving in the United States Armed Forces. The event will be streamed on the Duke University YouTube account at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11.
