Come to the LIVE FOR LIFE office by November 19th and receive 10 extra LIVE FOR LIFE dollars for measuring your body fat percentage with one of our fitness staff members. Screenings may be done during one of our scheduled drop-in times, or done as a part of a fitness consultation. Screening times, dates and locations will be announced in the weekly newsletter.

Most Americans gain weight between Thanksgiving and New Year's. Looking for a way to keep your holiday weight gain down and your energy up? Join Maintain Don't Gain. This eight-week, self-directed program will help you maintain your weight-or even shed pounds-during the holidays when it's more challenging to eat healthy foods and fit in exercise.
This may not sound like much, but the problem is that this extra weight accumulates through the years and maybe a major contributor to obesity later in life. You'll receive weekly e-mails with tips for adopting or maintaining healthy behaviors. The e-mails also contain healthy recipes, stress management tools, physical activity suggestions and encouraging messages.
Weighing in on your own will be available at the LIVE FOR LIFE clinic. Or, you can use the digital scales at one of the mobile Health-Check screenings. You may also elect to weigh-in at home.
How to Participate
- Register for Maintain Don't Gain
- Read the weekly Maintain Don't Gain email
- Weigh yourself each week (for convenience, come by the LIVE FOR LIFE clinic each week and weigh in on our scale)
- Report your weight online each week by end of the business day every Monday

Here's what you'll get by participating in the Maintain Don't Gain Program:

- Fitness Plan to help you stay on track
- LIVE FOR LIFE dollars. Here's how you can earn up to 140 LIVE FOR LIFE dollars:
- ($10 per week recorded, up to $70) Registering and completing at least 7 weeks of weigh-ins AND maintain weight within 3.0 lbs. of week 1's weigh in, or lose weight.
- ($20) Participate in our body composition screening (or mention Maintain Don't Gain when you come in for a fitness consultation). Must complete 2 to get $20. $10 is earned for each screening.
- ($35) Complete at least 7 weeks of activity with 3 or more days logged each of those weeks ($5 per week for 7 or more weeks)
- ($20) Rewarded to those who complete the evaluation survey. (You must provide your name and DUID in order to receive these dollars.)
