(10-20 min.)
Best for- those looking to improve their fitness; interested in testing outcomes
- American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) fitness testing:
- Cardiovascular Recovery: 3 minute Step Test (5 mins)
- Flexibility: Sit and Reach Test (1 min)
- Core Endurance: Curl-up Test (1 min)
- Upper Body Strength: Push-up Test (1 min)
- Tanita Composition Scale (3 mins)
- Detailed representation of total body composition
- Breakdown of muscle (lbs.), body fat (%), visceral fat accumulation, bone density and hydration status
- Quick goal-setting based on testing outcomes and health risks.
Fitness Goal Setting + Movement Screening
(20-30 min.)
Best for- those looking to improve their fitness; individuals with poor posture/alignment, or looking to identify muscle imbalances and correct form.
- One-on-one with a fitness specialist to discuss your fitness goals and how to succeed with the mindset of “small changes leading to big success.”
- Individualized programs tailored with basic exercise recommendations and suggestions based on your specific health history and goals
- A quick (5 min) movement screening which assesses basic movements that are necessary for daily life activities and test your overall mobility
- Assessing Squat mechanics, Hamstring/hip mobility, shoulder range of motion and trunk endurance.
- Movement screenings allow Fitness Specialists the opportunity to assess range of motion deficiencies and can provide corrective strategies towards enhancing mobility.
