Free parking is available directly in front of our buildings. The parking lot stretches from Oregon Street to Alexander Street. All Duke parking permits are valid in this lot.
Do not park across the access road in the lot adjacent to the Duke Police Station and the Episcopal Church—you will be ticketed.
If you do not have a Duke parking permit, please request a temporary permit from your instructor immediately upon your arrival. Do not wait for a class break. Only signed and dated temporary permits are valid. Please display the permit on your dashboard in your locked car—not under a wiper.
On rare occasion, our parking lot will fill up. There is a small lot behind building 402 that can be used for overflow parking. Street parking is also available on the west sides of Oregon and Alexander Streets.
Our parking lot is regularly patrolled by Transportation and Parking Services. Towing is rare, but tickets for unauthorized vehicles are not. If you are ticketed, and you believe it was an error, you may dispute the ticket using Transportation & Parking Services' online appeal form.
Buses C1, C2 and C3 all stop on Campus Drive or Alexander Street - five minutes or less walking distance from our location. During the school year, the buses run approximately every 10 minutes. For more information about bus schedules, visit the Parking & Transportation website.
