New Staff Orientation (for University employees) and Duke Health orientation (for School of Medicine/School of Nursing and DUHS employees) provides a broad overview of Duke, essential expectations and valuable resources. Duke Health employees will be automatically registered for the Day 1 at Duke Health orientation and must attend on their first day of work. New Duke Health team members must also complete Duke Health Orientation modules via the Learning Management System (LMS) within the first two weeks of employment.
New Duke University employees should be registered as soon as possible so that they have ample time to enroll in health, dental, and vision insurance, and reimbursement accounts within 30 days of gaining eligibility.
