In order to assist with Duke’s retention and recruitment efforts, an online exit survey process has been established for staff voluntarily terminating their employment with Duke.
This process is designed to elicit voluntary information concerning their experience at Duke and their reasons for leaving. This data is collected, analyzed, and reported anonymously as part of Duke’s continuing efforts to improve its policies, practices, and programs as well as to create a more favorable workplace environment and experience. This exit survey process does not apply to the following groups:
- Staff leaving Duke involuntarily
- Staff transferring within Duke
- Temporary staff
- Faculty
- Staff covered by union agreements
Voluntarily exiting staff should complete the exit survey (hr.duke.edu/exitsurvey) once a final work date has been established or when the termination paperwork has been completed.
