Duke University has announced that the tuition increase planned for 2020-2021 has been rescinded and tuition remains at the same level as the 2019-2020 academic year. As a result of this change to Duke's tuition, the maximum benefit amount awarded under the Children's Tuition Grant will also remain at the same level as the 2019-2020 academic year. For the 2020-2021 academic year, the Maximum Tuition Grant Payment is: $20,955 per semester, $41,910 per academic year.
The Children's Tuition Grant maximum benefit amount is based on the undergraduate tuition amount set for Duke University, and is subject to change at any time should the amount of Duke's tuition change.
The grant amount and the deductible for the Duke Children's Tuition Grant Program for the 2020/21 academic year are as follows:
Academic Year: July 1 thru June 30
Deductible for 2020/2021 Academic Year: $3,510.00 per semester
$1,755.00 per quarter
$2,340.00 per trimester
Maximum Tuition Grant Payment for 2020/21 Academic Year: $20,955 per semester, $41,910 per academic year
To apply for the Duke Children's Tuition Grant Program download the application form below*. Complete the parent/employee section and forward it to the school which your child/children will attend. The school should send the completed application to Duke Benefits at 705 Broad Street (Box 90502), Durham, NC 27705. Completed applications must be received by Duke Benefits within 90 days of the end of the application semester/quarter. Payments for the 2020/2021 academic year are processed after the start of our fiscal year, July 1, 2020.
