Last week the Centers for Disease Control issued guidance to improve mask fit in an effort to reduce the potential transmission of and exposure to COVID-19 as potentially more contagious variants continue to circulate. 

Celebrate the Samuel DuBois Cook Society Award Winners
Join fellow members of the Duke community on Tuesday at 6 p.m. to recognize and honor this year’s recipients of the Samuel DuBois Cook Society Award Winners who continue the legacy of social activism and leadership established by Duke’s first Black faculty member. The event will be hosted virtually this year, and attendees must register through the Office of Institution Equity.

Duke Named “Best Employer” by Forbes
Duke University and Duke University Health System each earned a spot on “America’s Best Employers 2021” list by Forbes. Forbes worked with online statistics partner Statista to survey about 38,000 employees working for companies that employ at least 1,000 in the U.S.
