Deadline to Order Employee Kickoff Tickets This Friday
The deadline for employees to order free tickets to the Employee Kickoff Celebration is 5 p.m. August 30. Benefit-eligible employees can order up to four free tickets to the Sept. 7 home football game against N.C. A&T.

Celebrating Labor Day Holiday on Sept. 2
While many will fire up grills or hit the swimming pool to celebrate Labor Day and the end of summer, you should take the opportunity to focus on the reason for the holiday and recognize your staff and their many contributions throughout the year. Make a Labor Day appreciation list for your staff, stick a “thank you” post-it note on their workstation, or share your gratitude during a staff meeting.

Last week, Duke's Lynda.com online learning system transitioned to the LinkedIn Learning platform. Duke users will continue to have the same access to their learning history, account information, and certifications. The platform includes over 13,000 courses and tutorials on business, technology and creative topics. LinkedIn plans to send a message directly to users after the transition is complete.
