Effective July 1, 2021, the retirement administration fee at Fidelity has been reduced for participants with an account balance of $5,000 or more. If your plan balance is $5,000 or more, the fee has changed from $13.50 per quarter ($54 annually) to $10.25 per quarter ($41 annually). If your plan balance is below $5,000, you will continue to pay $6.25 per quarter ($25 annually).
Important Plan Information for participants with Frozen Accounts at TIAA and/or AIG
- CREF Money Market R3 Account- Due to the low interest rate environment and the fees associated with the CREF Money Market, the CREF Money Market Account at TIAA may have negative returns. This means you may lose money in this investment. If you are invested in the CREF Money Market Account you may want to consider other investment options available in the Plan on the Fidelity platform. The Plan offers the Vanguard Federal Money Market Fund (VMFXX), which has a management fee of 0.11%. The Vanguard Federal Money Market Fund is a U.S. government money market fund and is not subject to the same fee requirements and liquidity restrictions that apply to the CREF Money Market. You may want to consult your financial advisor to discuss your options.
- Frozen Annuity Accounts - Certain annuity products at AIG Retirement Services (VALIC) and TIAA are frozen to new contributions. Please be aware that the frozen annuity account products are not evaluated or monitored by the plan's investment committee. Individuals invested in these frozen annuity accounts can transfer their balances at any time, subject to any restrictions described in the annuity contract, and invest those assets in an investment option available under the current lineup. To learn more about the frozen annuities, their performance and fees, and how to transfer balances to Fidelity, please see Investment Performance and Participant Fee Disclosure Information.
