Legacy Academy is a 5 STAR, NAEYC Accredited Preschool for ages 6 wk - 5 Yr, with a maximum capacity up to 192 children. We offer large grass playgrounds with safe play equipment and excellent security within a quiet neighborhood. We can accept up to 20 infants under 12 Months, an addl. 12 older infants through 18 Months, Ones and twos, up to 50 students, Prek classrooms up to 90. However, we currently have waitlists due to staffing.

Tuition Costs

Enrichment Activities
Legacy holds regular cultural & holiday events and provides, free of charge, a Spanish/Music instructor once weekly to each classroom at our expense. We also offer soccer through a local Soccer Camp Co. which does require a separate fee.
Special Needs Support
Legacy does care for children with limited special needs; Ex.glasses and/or helmets (for head shape), recovering from fractures/have a cast, etc. but as a group setting, cannot provide 1:1 care for challenging emotional/physical/behavioral/spectrum needs.

Additional Notes
Meals
Infant: parents must provide breast milk or formula and any interim pureed infant foods until the baby begins eating table foods. Legacy does provide food prepared specifically for allergy, vegetarian, or religious needs.
Duke Child Care Partnership (DCCP)
This facility is part of the Duke Child Care Partnership (DCCP), which offers priority placement to Duke faculty, staff and students in four or five star child care facilities. All facilities are rated by the NC Division of Child Development.
