In choosing an outside consultant or search firm to assist with the selection
process, it is recommended that hiring officials obtain 2-3 references on search
firms and/or consultants who have conducted searches for like positions
before making the selection. The assistant vice-president of Recruitment can
assist in checking references.
At the conclusion of the search, the recruiter
will request an evaluation of your experience with the firm and /or consultant.
