Objectives:
Learn the important leadership competencies and work processes required to build a successful team. Explore several methods (KSA inventory, learning cycles, knowledge transfer process, and facilitating team problem-solving) for helping your team members function at their peak. Learn to identify team strengths and weaknesses and find opportunities for aligning your department's and Duke's vision and objectives. Applying these tools will enhance team strengths, skills, energy, and work satisfaction. Workshop objectives:
- assess your leadership competencies and team member's skills, knowledge, and abilities
- learn and apply processes to help teams learn and transfer knowledge more effectively
- learn and practice facilitating critical team discussions
