You have taken on one of the most challenging assignments for a supervisor—managing people who used to be your peers. In this workshop, we will identify ways your role has changed, explore opportunities and potential pitfalls, and learn strategies for becoming a successful supervisor. This workshop will also be useful if you are considering becoming a supervisor of your peers. Workshop objectives:

• identify what has changed about your role
• learn what you need to do to get started as a manager/supervisor
• explore ways to help your new staff navigate this change
