Objectives:
In this half-day workshop, learn about relational databases and about the guidelines for creating effective tables. Learn about data types, keys and key fields, and table relationships and links. Practice sorting and filtering tables. Workshop objectives:
- understand relational databases
- create a table using the wizard
- create tables in the design view
- identify and work with Primary and Foreign Keys
- identify and apply table relationships
- sort and filter data directly on a table
- use the Advanced Filter Sort feature and Saving as a Query
This workshop is for people have an affinity for learning computer software, who need a quick lesson in order to begin using Access right away, and who aren't able to schedule time for the comprehensive Access 1 and Access 2 workshops. It does not replace these workshops.
