QuitSmart, a smoking cessation class that offers support for those who are trying to stop smoking.
Duke's LIVE FOR LIFE program is available to help you during every step of your journey
to freedom from tobacco. A variety of programs and resources
are available to help you meet your goals.

Nicotine Replacement Therapy
Eligible individuals enrolled in a LIVE FOR LIFE tobacco cessation program have the option of receiving nicotine
replacement therapy (NRT) at no cost. This includes gum, patch and lozenge.

There are many physical, social, professional, and spiritual benefits to breaking the tobacco habit. Click here for more reasons to quit.
Individuals may also qualify for a three-month supply of the tobacco cessation prescription drugs
CHANTIX (varenicline) or Buproprion with no co-pay (a physician's prescription is required).
Physician Counseling Session
Eligible individuals can review their tobacco use history, personal health risks, rewards of quitting, and
options for medications and nicotine replacement therapy during a physician counseling session, also available at no cost.
