Free Fitness Consultations
Meet one-on-one (in person or by phone) with a fitness specialist to learn ways to improve your fitness level. Get help regardless of your fitness level. The fitness staff can help you determine a suitable exercise program and motivate you to accomplish your goals. Call 684-3136 (option 1) to schedule an appointment.

Duke Fitness Club
Duke Fitness ClubThe Duke Fitness Club includes a network of full-service fitness facilities in locations throughout the Triangle that offer Duke faculty, staff, retirees and their families discounted membership rates.

Walking and running are wonderful aerobic exercises, but for overall physical well-being, individuals should also take part in strength building exercises.

Before each fall Run/Walk Club session, LIVE FOR LIFE coaches will offer a 30-minute strength training component. Exercises will work all major muscle groups and are designed for walkers and runners of all fitness levels.

When: 5 p.m. every Monday and Wednesday
Where: Each Run/Walk meeting location
