Offered each spring and fall, this 12-week program is for all fitness
levels, from new exercisers to those training for 5K events.
The Duke Run/Walk Club is open to all Duke faculty and staff. Participants are divided into groups based on fitness level.
Earn LIVE FOR LIFE dollars — You can earn up to $165 for participating each week, attending a workshop ($5/each) and for completing a program evaluation.
Meeting Times & Locations
Club meets every Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at:
East Campus Track (Map)
Flat, beginner course (1 loop = 1.7 miles)
Meet across from Whole Foods at the East Campus Wall. Ideal for:

Beginner Walk to Run
West Campus Trail (Map) Hilly, advanced course (1 loop = 2.9 miles)
Meet in front of Wallace Wade Stadium. Ideal for:

Durham Regional Hospital — Employee Entrance (Map) For all who plan to participate at the Durham Regional Hospital location, please note that the walk at Durham Regional is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m.

Parking is available at the following locations after 5 p.m. (parking maps).
East Campus: In the 705 Broad Street parking lot or along Broad Street.
West Campus: Along Bassett Drive or around Wallace Wade Stadium.
Durham Regional: Visitor Parking Lot

In case of inclement weather, an email will be sent to notify Run/Walk Club participants of meeting cancellations. Register to receive updates.

here by the last day of each month.
