Labor Day Holiday for Duke Staff
The Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 7 marks one of 13 paid holidays Duke provides eligible university staff as part of its comprehensive benefits package to recognize
and support staff.
Eligible university staff members include those scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week.
Labor Day is also considered a designated holiday for Duke University Health System (DUHS) staff for the purposes of holiday premium payment. DUHS staff must schedule
time off in accordance with the Paid Time Off policy.
