The Duke Farmers Market is open every Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Following a week off on Aug. 7, the Farmers Market will be open every other Friday from Aug. 14 to Sept. 11. The hours of operation will remain the same.
Visitors looking to buy fruits, vegetables and other fare can come to the markets new location behind the Bryan Research Building, adjacent to the Searle Center. Visitors can spot the market by the various tents set up during business hours.
As always, Farmers Market shoppers have a variety of choices of fruits and vegetables from up to 11 farmers that take part. There are also four vendors who sell lunch foods like sandwiches and wraps.
The Farmers Market will host their annual Harvest Festival on Sept. 11. In addition to fall produce, the market will feature music from folk band Boiled Cabbages.
