Too busy to grocery shop? Save time and effort by pre-purchasing fruits and vegetables from local
farmers through the Mobile Farmers Market. The mobile market is the first market of its kind at any university. It's a form of community supported
agriculture (CSA), a concept that encourages small farmers to sell directly to local customers. For more information, click here.
Fresh Veggies All Fall & Winter
Summer isn't the only time to get crisp, fresh vegetables from a local farmer's market. Through LIVE FOR LIFE's Mobile Farmer's Market, Duke faculty and staff can continue to
pre-pay for fresh vegetables throughout the winter months and pick up their share of the harvest each Tuesday at the Duke Gardens.

The new Walking Fish program will deliver its first shipment of North Carolina seafood to
Durham-area shareholders on Sept. 17. The 12-week program will continue through Dec. 10. In a community-supported fishery, members of the public buy pre-paid "shares"
that entitle them to weekly or bi-weekly deliveries of fresh fish and shellfish.

LIVE FOR LIFE is pleased to add Rosie's Plate to our offerings of innovative, healthy meal options for you and your family.
Rosie's Plate offers a variety of fresh delicious foods for take-out including entrees, all of which are created in a brand new completely gluten, shellfish and peanut free kitchen.

The Mobile Farmers Market is one of the many programs that supports Duke's sustainability efforts.
This winter, Coon Rock Farm, Brinkley's Farm, Lyon Farm, and Smith Angus Farm will provide fruit, vegetables, and a variety of beef cuts through the Duke Mobile Market. Delivery ranges and prices vary.
Please see Participating Farms for more information.
Farmers will accept customers until they reach full serving capacity.
