Run/Walk Club

Come join the Duke Run/Walk Club! All walkers, run/walkers, and runners are welcome to participate in this free 12-week training program. The club meets every Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The recent Surgeon General's report talks about the benefits of regular exercise and the harmful effects of inactive living. It has been found that regular moderate exercise helps prevent heart disease, obesity, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, adult-onset diabetes and premature death. LIVE FOR LIFE offers fitness activities and events and provides one-on-one fitness consultations to help employees who are interested in starting an exercise program or enhance a current workout program.

Fitness Consultations

Meet one-on-one with a Fitness Specialist to learn ways to improve your fitness level. Whether you are just starting being active or want more advanced training, the fitness staff can help you determine a suitable exercise program that will motivate you to accomplish your goals. To schedule your free fitness consultation call 684-3136, option 1.
